Hi.

Welcome to my blog.

Everyone has a story. My hope is to inspire others to share the many lessons this life has so we can all get the most from our journeys.

Life is an adventure.

Life is an adventure.

Recently a Facebook memory popped up on my phone. It was a photo of three of my grandchildren on one of our "adventure" days from 2011. When they were little I would draw a map of the places we needed to go including some errands and some fun spots. They checked off each item as they followed the map. It brought back such happy feelings. I couldn't help but smile.

I just returned from a few days on a biking trip to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. As I reflect, I smile as well from all of the “adventure” from that trip. I was in the company of 20 other women of various ages from all over the country. We navigated rain, fog, sun and heat. Some of the navigating was by paper map cues and some by GPS. I traveled by car, taxi, bus, plane, ferry and bike through the long weekend. I admit it was a treat to have someone else make all of the arrangements for dining and accommodations. New friendships were made and I had the pleasure of reconnecting with one of the guides from my last trip in 2019.

As the world begins to open up again I find myself even more excited about the prospects of travel yet to come. I spent a few hours on the porch our last day chatting among the group as we all contemplated the possibilities of our next adventures and where they might take us.
